Windows drops support for older versions of Internet Explorer

On January 12th, 2016 Microsoft dropped support for older versions of IE (10 and below) which means stopping security updates and technical support for older browsers. Updating browsers is not only important in order to get the best user experience from modern websites, but it also restricts the amount of security flaws and possible bugs that could infect your machine.

At DX, we currently build websites for Internet Explorer 8 and upwards. We are having internal discussions about the possibility of scrapping IE8 support this year due to these statistics.
